Kiss My Axe! - Warhammer Online - New Song Release

Mythic Studios and EA, the developer of Warhammer Online, recently announced that they are releasing a new original rock song created by two members of Blue Oyster Cult and several members of the development team. The song, “Kiss My Axe (While I Drink My Beer)” is available at the official Warhammer website, along with several other Warhammer soundtracks.

According to the to the press release, Blue Oyster Cult’s Eric Bloom (vocals) and Richie Castellano (guitars, vocals) collaborated with Mythic’s Brad Derrick (drums), Josh Drescher and senior creative director Paul Barnett (lyrics) to launch the song in celebration of the oath-sworn “Dwarf Slayer”.

Its great to see BOC back in the game (pun intended), and cranking out some solid rock music.

  • Wow, it’s pretty rare to see someone put things into perspective the way you just did. I wish that other bloggers and people that post content to the web would take a page from your book! Do you have any other sites that I could visit or could you possibly make a recommendation as to where I might be able to find some more information? Either way, thanks for an excellent resource and I look forward to being a repeat reader!
